Dr. Ivey Thornton did a cataract removal on me, and it was by far the easiest, most painless surgery I have ever had — and I’ve had a lot! The whole process with her, from initial exam to post-op, has been so thorough and excellent, it made me comfortable and not afraid to proceed with the surgeries. Thank you Dr. Thornton and staff for your exceptional care. I highly recommend her.
I had a situation at the end of my cataract surgery on my left eye. My provider in 20 years of practice had never seen this. She took it very seriously, consulted with another specialist, and watched out for me by calling me every couple days to see how my eye was coming. I was given a couple phone numbers to make direct calls just in case anything happened. And she has stayed on top of it to this very day.
Dr Thornton was the FIRST doctor that gave me specific instructions on how to correctly apply the medication to my eyes. I’ve used this medication three other times by other NM Drs and was never told how to apply it until this visit. So grateful for Dr Thornton.
